The Weighted AD is a market internal proprietary indicator created by ShadowTrader that gauges the strength or weakness of intraday moves in the market by plotting both an unweighted and a weighted histogram of how the 11 sectors are performing from the open, affording the user a huge edge in discerning the strength or weakness of moves and also knowing when there is positive or negative divergence in heavier versus lighter sectors as the day unfolds.
