The top line figures are nothing more than the current levels of the Dow Jones Industrial Average, the S&P 500, and the Nasdaq Composite. Peter keeps these three numbers on the top line of a quote box on one of his screens so he started calling them “top line figures”. Its not a term he coined himself and would not be found on a site like Investopedia.com
