Tom Cook aka “The Southern Gentleman” is born and raised in Kentucky, as a cattle and horse farmer. He completed his bachelors in 1986, with an emphasis on engineering at Morehead State University, in the Hills Of Eastern Kentucky. Tom originally spent over 20 years constructing buildings, roads, and bridges, and brings extensive business knowledge and creativity to our family here at Shadowtrader. He has over 8 years of professional trading experience, trading his personal account with a concentration on e-mini S&P futures and has also traded for two hedge funds. He has traded stocks, futures, forex, and options and has trained several hundred traders. He is a Certified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and has presented at the New York Traders Expo. He holds a Bachelor’s in Finance and also an MBA in Entrepreneurship, both from the University of Florida.

Scott is the newest addition to the ShadowTrader team. In his “past lives” he has been a retail broker, director of information technology, project manager, database developer, credit analyst, and financial analyst for various firms since the late 1980’s. He has stayed with investments through the years as his passion has always run deep for trading as a lifetime business.
Once leaving the corporate world, he joined a firm to educate individuals on how to trade stocks and options. After 4 years of imparting this knowledge he found his way to ShadowTrader.net. He now has the opportunity to impart his investment, technical, and financial knowledge and insight to the ShadowTrader community. He is passionate in his teachings and the desire to pass on his life lessons to those wishing to manage their financial futures.
Scott currently resides in Bristol, Connecticut, yet still holds strong ties to his roots in Minnesota. He lives with his faithful trading partner – April, a Black Labrador.
