Brad thanks so much for the tip on AMR yesterday. I'm a beginning trader and just started subscribing to the focus report. I'm enjoying the trading, and my dad is my partner, for now we're trading his portfolio, but this sure beats the salary of what I'm studying at college, meteorology. Hi Brad, Checking in from Prague. I'm in Prague 2 which is near, but not in, the Old Town center. I am two blocks from the Vltava, so I can go over and have a beer with the swans every once in a while. I really enjoy your show. I am an options spread trader and when I have to adjust my trades, which is too often these days, it helps to have some knowledgeable insight as to what happening... like today. Hey Brad Just walked in and saw the /es up 21 and looked at your pivots and looked and Person's pivots on a monthly and we are nailed right there I think i will take a short at the down side for a few points with a tight stop just above that pivot. I love your pivots. Thank you guys for all your hard work. Hi Brad, Love the show - I've been listening since the beginning. I most appreciate your consistent unbiased approach to the overall market. Confession: I have to turn down the Zeppelin at times to hear your comments, so I think I've missed a few gems over the last 6 months...sorry. Can you take a look at FCH when you have a chance? I took this long trade after the fifth bottom test and a jump in the short interest. I've not used the short interest as a trading plan; I usually just check it as part of my pre-trade checklist. Hey Brad Thanks for the heads up on HK last Friday. I took profits on half of my Jul 30 calls for a 92% gain. I know emotion is not supposed to figure into our trades, so forgive me for laughing all the way to the bank. Seriously, for a stock like HK that is making all time highs, at what point would you consider taking profits on the other half of my position? Regarding the music: I absolutely love "U2 Tuesdays", though I have to mute "Country Music Thursdays" just to make it through. Bottom line, I have quickly become a big fan of your show. Seems like every month I could thank you for all your help, whether it is reminding us to fiercely protect our profits or identifying a day to SOH, your comments have made me a better trader. Case in point, after a remark you made several weeks ago, I shorted CME. Purchased 120 contracts at 7.50 and sold yesterday before closing at 48.30. Yeah, my wife is happy. ShadowTraderPro, In yesterdays Focus Report you mentioned RICK as a potential long idea with a trigger price at 24.08 and stop and 22.82. Given the market today, it made perfect sense to me that RICK continues its "orderly low volume pullback". My question (I do have a question) is why you felt that there was some expectation that RICK might rebound sooner rather than later, and, why a trigger of 24.08? BTW, MA was a good call and a good money maker for me as a day trade. Thanks for the heads up; I never would have considered going long on anything remotely financial today without your report. (I also had a great day in the SKF; since I Shadowtrader in an IRA, I had to look for an alternative to shorting the SPY.) I was wondering if you could help me. I receive a newsletter and one of the charts they use is below. I would like to review the "Index Put/ Call ratio (Combined option volume from AMEX, CBOE, ISEC, PHLX, and Pacific Exchanges) on my own. This is located on the lower quarter of the chart. Brad, On Thursday you talked about unusual option activity on SPN. I watched it early Friday after earnings announcement and bought some 45 June calls at 45.75 on Friday. It is still climbing this morning. I closed the calls when it pulled back to $52.25. I may have sold early but I did not want to give anything back in this market. I captured $ 2.90 in the $45.00 Calls. Thanks for the heads up on this one. Keep up the good work. Brad, Once again, your resistance / support levels kept me in the green. I opened a small intraday position on XLF (bought some puts) and, while they did not hit my target, I got out when the SPY hit your support level for a small profit, as it looked to be bouncing. Good morning Brad Thanks for the support and resistance level info. This morning I used that info to buy back some ES futures I shorted at 1395 last Friday; I placed the buy orders to close the trade at 1380 (1 point above the resistance level you provided) and I got filled at 1380 I could have been greedier and placed the order at 1379 and it would have been filled!). Nice 15 point gain (x 10 mini contracts). I definitely owe you a drink...it pays to listen to the info you provide. Best, Alain

With your voice ringing in my head, I'm closing out the BA position before the close today. At the most I'll miss a gap up, but can always jump right back in. Brad, The market wasn't as "exited" as yesterday. I had some nice gains but considered letting them run. However, your verbal reminder and uneasiness reminded me how I was all long in the market. I didn't have any hedge or taken any profit. I "paid" myself and stepped aside for re-entry when the air was clearer or low risk was available. When you mentioned the news yesterday for bond insurers, I held a bit longer for additional gains. Thanks again for being the "on air" conscience for all listeners/traders. Peter, Couldn't you have twisted my arms and forced me to buy HANS and RMBS when you recommended it. I would have doubled my money. But I still thank you for X and SMDI. I did get $4 from X ($46.50 - $50.60) in 7 days and about $.8 ($4.57 - $5.45). So I still want to thank you for $1500 I gained in 7 days. The focus list is the new email crack but with good effects. Brad, Good morning. It is a GREAT day. 50 degrees and light rain. The flowers are starting to bloom and my grandson is here for a visit. I know it may not be an exciting BULL day on the market but we have to trade what the market gives us. It might be frustrating if you have long positions. BUT, like you said, if you are a premium seller, this is a great market. What I have learned from you and Peter is to take what the market gives you. Hi Peter, . Thanks for sending today's Focus List, I am really enjoying your insight, commentary, and sharing your priceless years of experience. I have worked extremely hard over the past 4 years. Studying 2-6 hours per day, reading a ton of books, spending money on some high end programs, going to many- many seminars, belonging to trading study groups, subscribing to newsletters. I never believed that if I just did this one more thing (read a book, buy programs, attend a seminar) that I could just easily make all this money in the markets. I knew early on it would be very challenging. I desire so darn greatly to join you and the few others that can make a living (and hopefully a pretty darn good one) off the markets. I know you've heard many others make similar claims to mine, I do hope and pray and work hard so I too can be so fortunate to be one of the few to "graduate" to that level.
